Outstanding podcast, Keith!
I love making the journey up to Elderly, at least a couple of times per quarter. I have been doing business there since the 70s.
You and I have met several times over the years, both at Elderly and at shows. The last time I saw you I was playing with Hardline Drive throughout Michigan and the midwest.
I am wring to see if you’ve had the chance to read my biography of Earl Scruggs. If not, we need to get you a copy.
I love your podcasts, especially the Alan Munde episode. Alan and the Gazette often stayed at my home in Livonia when they travelled through the Mitten on tours. He used to show me a great deal of banjo in those days and it made a huge impact on my development.
I moved back from ATL to Clinton Township seven years ago and continue to play bluegrass. My current band is called, The Powdermill Ramblers. I have the honor of playing music with some teeth shattering, down and dirty great musicians who play with timing and drive.
Are you still in Ferndale? It would be great to visit sometime.
Best
